Form, fitness, status and personality sit together. Ratings are backed by a deeper player model, while scouting fog makes knowledge something you earn—not something a database hands you.
Chapter C · Live Sync
One save. No broken story.
Gaffer mirrors the career you are already playing. Squads, budgets, fixtures and results move between FC 26 and your management world, while safe checkpoints show exactly when the career is current. Play the match in FC; return to consequences that already know what happened.
Chapter D · Academy
Potential is only the beginning.
Prospects arrive with ability, ceilings and personalities—not guaranteed futures. Build a pathway through training, loans and first-team minutes, then decide who deserves a contract before another club sees what you saw.
Chapter E · Boardroom
The board is not a progress bar.
The chair, finance director and sporting director judge different parts of the job. Results matter, but so do promises, spending, squad planning and the mandate you negotiated. Keep their backing—or learn which battle is worth losing.
Chapter F · Scouting
Knowledge has to be earned.
Deploy scouts by region, role and specialism. Reports take time, attributes remain uncertain and hidden potential only becomes clearer through better eyes. Recruitment starts with a question—not a searchable list of perfect answers.

Five minutes to the dugout.
No installer maze and no command line. GAFFER is a portable Windows app with a guided first run. You need FC 26 on PC and the free community FC Live Editor.
Prepare Live Editor
Download the free FC 26 Live Editor, extract it anywhere and run its launcher once so it finds FC 26.
Unzip GAFFER
Download the current Windows build from Patreon, extract it into a fresh folder and open Gaffer.exe. Nothing else needs installing.
Let GAFFER connect
GAFFER finds Live Editor, installs its bridge scripts and walks you through the first connection. Your first full career sync may take one or two minutes.
Each session
Go offline in the EA app → launch FC 26 from GAFFER → click Run Game → load your career → run fc_auto.lua once → load the career in GAFFER.
